This bracelet of agate stones and brass or copper beads is hand crafted by a cooperative of talented artisans outside Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This cooperative employs and supports women living with HIV/AIDS. The organization partners with farmers and local landowners who collect and upcycle spent artillery shells left from various civil wars. The shells are separated and sanitized, then melted and crafted into delicate beads used in creating a stunning collection of unique jewelry.
